About me.
I’m a poet by nature. I love painting images with words and building worlds in verse. My introduction to poetry was hip hop. I started writing when I was 10 and never stopped long enough to lose the habit. I started doing spoken word while I earned my bachelors in poetry.
I’m one half of FAUX, a music duo comprised of myself and my brother and producer Oliver Fade. We released our first spoken word music album, The Garden, in 2022. Since then I have released more work as spoken word music and have been published in several magazines and journals. In July of 2024, I was elected as the first poet laureate of Joliet, IL.
About FAUX
FAUX was created when my brother Oliver Fade came to me with an idea: he wanted to produce music tailored for my spoken word poetry. We experimented with thousands of sounds and over the course of a year, we put together our first studio album The Garden. (Which is available on all music streaming platforms.)
